Spectaculator is a great Spectrum emulator and very powerful as well. It can emulate hardware as well as software to give better on screen graphics and be more faithful to the original speccy

Spectaculator emulates the following models:

16K/48K/128/+2/+2A/+3 Spectrums and lots of additional hardware like the Multiface1, Multiface128 and Multiface3.
The requirements? 166Mhz Pentium Class CPU, 16MB RAM and either Windows 95, 98, ME, NT 4, 2000 or XP plus DirectX 5 and above.

Version 5.1 features Pentagon 128 emulation and lots more improvements.

Installation	Simply follow the easy to use on screen install wizard
Ease Of Use	Very simple to use. Just click on the Speculator icon on your desktop and a small menu will appear asking you what you want to do. Click 2 and the games file will be brought up..Double click on the game you want to play and you are away. Plus if you click on Tools/Options you can select the Spectrum model you want to use.
Compatibility	This emulator is capable of running all the games we tested it with (around 100+) and it runs them at an accurate speed. Spectaculator is capable of reading emulated games in (SNA/Z80/TAP/SLT/VOC/DSK/TZX) formats.
Graphics	This emulator reproduces the Spectrum graphics beautifully with a cool option that displays accurate colour effects produced by games such as Zynaps, Uridium and demos such as MDA, NMI3, Shock Megademo and Hercules.
Sound	The sound is awesome in this emulator as both of the Spectrum sound chipsets are emulated perfectly with high fidelity Spectrum sound. Your sound card is easily detected and it works fine under Windows. Plus there is an advanced option that enhances sound for the 48K Spectrum through emulation of the Fuller Box sound system.
Speed	The speed is very close to that of the real machine and does not overclock itself on faster machines. There is an option to increase the speed of the emulated Z80 as well.
Registration	The beauty of emulation is that most authors create these superb programs in their free time and therefore expect nothing in return. Spectaculator has no registration fee and is 100% free although you can make a donation if you wish.
